QUALITY ENGINEERING MANAGER

The Quality Engineering Manager is the single point of accountability responsible for providing leadership, organization, support, and technical/administrative direction to the quality department in matters of quality policy, customer quality requirements, root cause corrective action, process control, inspection/test planning and execution. This person is also responsible for leading, mentoring, and teaching a staff of 3 direct reports.

The ideal candidate should have the following requirements and skills:

BS degree in Engineering or Science is preferred
Quality Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
Working knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and PPAP
ISO 9001:2008 Lead Assessor trained
Some management experience directing teams and subordinates preferred
Ability to build strong relationships with customers and suppliers
Strong communication skills, people skills, and computer skills
Demonstrated ability to work multiple projects simultaneously and to prioritize multiple tasks
Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work well in cross functional teams
Passion for making significant improvements
