TST is excited to announce a few new faces on their management team! As our business grows, so does our staff.
Karen Hitchcock will be replacing Andrea Loppnow as of June 16, 2008. Andrea is now working part time for TST as a Systems Engineer and Karen will be taking over the Quality Assurance department. Karen brings with her many years of QA experience and has been the key component to implementing quality standards in her previous companies. Please direct all past and current quality comments/questions/issues to Karen from now on.
We are also pleased to announce the addition of our Plant Accountant, Suzanne Bowen. Suzanne will be working with TST’s financials on a daily basis. Please direct all accounting/invoicing/accounts payable to Suzanne.
Finally, Kyle Robbins joins the Engineering team as a Project Engineer. Kyle brings over 15 years of engineering experience to TST.

TST is invovled in State Grant for continuous Improvement Training!
Grants of nearly $400,000 to help train about 700 skilled manufacturing workers at 21 companies were awarded by the state to Madison Area Technical College.
TST will be invovled in the Workforce Advancement Training Grant in developing continuous improvement skills by training in efficiency and consistency. This grant partners Madison Area Technical College with six small businesses in Dane, Jefferson and Columbia counties to upgrade at least 90 workers’ skills. The grant proposes to impact continuous improvement initiatives by enhancing quality and productivity concepts & practices, leadership & communication skills and the use of technology applications. Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Quality, Project Management, Supervision, Teamwork, Communication and Information Technology training will be provided. Training will develop workers efficiency, consistency and leadership while reducing rework and increasing productivity. The project intends to improve employees’ career advancement opportunities while also supporting each company’s profitability and long-term viability. The entire project cost is estimated at $215,050; grant funding.
